Beyoncé and Michelle Obama have quite the amazing relationship. It all started back in 2008 at Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration when Beyoncé sang “At Last.”
Their friendship took off from there.
The two collaborated on Beyoncé’s campaign to fight childhood obesity called “Let’s Move.” The First Lady then returned the favor by appearing on stage during the singer’s set while at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival.
Heck, their two families have even hung out together at Camp David. Best friends is what I’d use to describe them as.
But we haven’t had the opportunity to see many candid moments of the two friends together. Yes, they’ve been photographed at events but they knew people would be looking at them.
We want a fun Snapchat Story of these two ladies just hanging out, listening to music, talking about how amazing they are and all that they do.
Of course, I don’t think that exists, but what does is this clip of Beyoncé, Obama, and Solange acting silly while at Queen B’s birthday bash last year.
The video was uncovered and posted to Twitter by @TheBeyHiveTeam early last Friday morning. In it, you can see Beyoncé and Solange in funny glasses and the three of them giggling saying “Bye, Felicia” several times.
Check out the video clip for yourself below:
The twos friendship has been well known for several years now. During an interview with Stephen Colbert in September 2016 around the time that this video was taken, Michelle Obama showered Beyoncé with praise.
“She’s a special person,” Obama stated. “She’s a sweetheart. She’s smart, she’s creative, she’s a great mother, she loves her family. She’s just a low-key lady – we have a lot in common that way. Except I can’t since… I can’t dance.”
Now that the Obama’s are out of the White House we are excited to get further glimpses into their “normal” lives, especially anything involving the Queen B.
